I can barely hear them through the glass and outdated speaker system. It's mentally draining, to an extreme degree. I take multiple trips to the bathroom regularly to just chill out and not cry. I irritate the pharmacy managers by bringing them over again and again. Anytime there's questions I don't know the answer to, someone else takes over. Coworkers are getting tired of me asking them to please slow down and teach me. Instead they tell me that I should just be "stocking the waiting bins" instead. And probably the biggest thing that gets to me is that I was hired on and promised 25-30 hours a week. (In writing. ) They scheduled me for 4 hours last week. 5 hours next week. That's it. Even after I told them that I can't afford to work that little. Meanwhile, another store needed help, so I picked up hours there. It's amazing. I ask questions, I get answers. I've learned so much I can work entirely independently after only 3 days there. The pharmacist will work with my availability schedule, and there's no drive thru.
